Appearance: No two pieces of leather are the same, therefore blemishes and natural scarring may be present. Color tones as well as the appearance of the dye colors may be different then the images on this site. As no two pieces of leather are the same, this is part of being real leather and therefore adds to the unique character.
Colors: All dye colors vary from the images as well as each piece of leather will take the dyes differently. We are not responsible if you feel it looks differently in person then when you viewed it online. There are no guarantees of color matches. Colors may fade over time or alter depending on their surroundings ie; sunlight and moisture. We are not responsible for any changes.
Quality: Some Items such as dog collars may scratch from your dogs nails or activity. Although we coat our leather, leather is not waterproof and should be kept dry. Leather can stretch over wear & time, as well as show signs of aging and wear through the course of its life, it is not up to us as to how the product wears over time, as the use of each product varies greatly from one customer to another.
Time line: Most of our products are customized and made to order therefore the wait period of time can fluctuate based on orders & project duration. Plan well ahead for orders if you need them for gifts. Allow at least 2 to 4 weeks for items to be made, and longer during the holidays. Still there is no guarantee of how long it will take, we do not rush quality. But sometimes it maybe done even sooner then 2 or 4 weeks, and few items are ready to ship.
Longevity: Leather is very strong and most items are made to go through abuse and to be used indoors and outdoors, however to extend the life greatly we recommend the following. Keep the items as dry as possible. Although we coat our leather, leather is not waterproof and should be kept dry. Do not store in direct sunlight for extended periods of time. Leather is a skin and like ours it can dry out and crack if not cared for so keeping it well conditioned will also help extend the life of the items. Wear and tear will happen and the leather will show different signs of this.
Measurements: If you provide us with measurements we are not responsible for its accuracy, therefore be sure to measure carefully. Triple check and feel free to ask us any question prior to purchase. Measurement directions are provide and explanation's of their use is also shown, this is not open for interpretation of how one feels it should be done, rather if you feel differently than that of which is explained then account for that in your sizing, with either upsizing or downsizing.
Delivery: If an item is not delivered reach out to us, If the status shows "Delivered" but you still didn't actually receive it, please confirm your address with us, after that is shown to be correct we will open a ticket with Canada post/shipping provider. No items will be remade if they show delivered until their investigation is finished. If they decide not in your/our favor then the item will not be remade if shown delivered if the item shows not delivered or the insurance reimburse the funds then the item will be remade. Any wait time is out of our hands from the postal service and therefore the customer will have to wait until the case is closed.
Cancellations: If a order is cancelled before being sent out, there will be a restocking fee, or/and a project fee depending on how far along we are in the process, either material cost or 20% to 50% of your purchase depending on how far along it was and how much material was use as well as if the item cannot be resold based on customization as well as progress. Percentage is to be determined by us at the time of the request of cancellation. However if the project has not been started we are happy to work with you, to help make you happy. If you want a change (ie. color change) we can make the change assuming we have not gotten to that process of your order yet. (As of 2023) All orders cancelled still will be subject to processing fees, processing fees will no longer be returned, due to changes from credit card processors as they no longer refund processing fees back to us. Please reach out within the same day of purchase for cancellations.
Changes to your order: If you notice an error or you have changed your mind on a certain detail. Reach out to us right away and be sure to get a reply back as confirmation. (However calling none stop or sending many emails will not change or have any effect on this so please refrain from doing so) Since we aim to fulfill all orders as soon as possible, your order may already be started and depending on the change may not be able to take place. If an order is restarted because of this a restocking fee may apply since all our items are custom made to order. Please aim to reach out within the same day of purchase for changes.
Returns/Warranty: No customized items can be returned. However if there is a mistake done by us (ie: font style is wrong) we will correct it. We stand by our work we will try to make sure you're happy. If you have an issue we will try our best to come up with a solution. There is no Warranty on any products due to the various unknown conditions that the products might be subjected to (ie: dog roughhousing or the item being wet and drying out etc) We have no way of confirm what the product has gone through. If there is an issue that we agree to resolve to fix ( ie: an item breaks) then the buyer may be responsible for shipping costs and any duties incurred, Depending on the error/issue we will decide if we can cover material and/or labor cost. we may or may not cover the shipping costs based by our discretion and the occurrence. Absolutely No Returns for measuring errors.
