The information below will help you see the difference in the options we offer, since we offer over a million combinations we cannot show each option on our shop page, but the information below will help you understand and narrow your options down. There are 2 series of dog collars, The Artisan series or the Classic series, the difference being the artisan series is has a larger range of options made out of leather that we dye in our shop, whereas the Classic series collars all the leather is the same brown bridle leather with 2 options for padding and thread, brown or black.
The first main way the collar options are divide are between "Basic" & "Deluxe" The differences are: Basic collars are all one layer of leather, no thread, no padding. Whereas Deluxe collars have padding and thread, its more of an upscale collar intended for your full grown dog. Both collars can have spikes and other extras added. However the deluxe covers the rivet head on the inside of the collar for most options. For both options the width sizes are based off of the hardware used. All deluxe collars are actually wider then what we refer it as. For example a 1 inch basic is actually 1 inch wide where as a 1 inch deluxe is closer to 1½ inches wide after the padding. a 1½ deluxe is closer to 2 inches wide after the padding and so on.
Right ►: Deluxe 1 inch wide collars, as you can see the padding makes it wider then 1 inch however we base the width size off of the hardware required. It uses 1 inch hardware ◄ Left: basic 1 inch wide shows its right at one inch in size. we base the width size off of the hardware required.

The next big way the collars options are divided is if it has a name on it or no name. Collars with no names on them are lower in cost. After that the option is metal font or a embossed font. It is important to note that for the embossed letters this option is only available currently on the 1½ inch wide collars and up in size since there needs to be enough space to carve the details in the leather by hand. The only font the 1 inch deluxe collar can have is the metal font
How we are truly different is, our collars with hand carved fonts on them. The chart shown in each of our collars where the choice can be made to have fonts carved into the leather, the process is all done by hand, cut by hand into the leather then shaped by hand with a wooden leather working hammer and a shaping tool. Truly hand crafted.

Some collars are flower types, yet any collar we have you can add flowers to it from our upgrade menu
Extras such as spikes, gems, decorative rivets, or flowers maybe added to your collar by going to the upgrade menu and selecting them and adding them your cart. We will then fit them onto the collar, if you bought to many or they don't fit not to worry we will let you know and credit you what we didn't use. This allows you to add as little or as much of something you want, where as other companies don't give you such freedom.
Our threads we use are thick and strong, adding strength but also a beautiful look. 11 current color choices, usually selected to match the leather padding, however there are no rules, some people choose to use the thread to add a slight splash of color. Threads are only used on our deluxe collars, not basic collars.
